It's getting a little too warm outside now for hot oatmeal. Hurray for the return of overnight oats!! I know I've talked about them before, but they really are the perfect breakfast for a busy (and healthy) mom. Also, Trader Joe's has 99% fat free blueberry muesli for $3.69. All you have to do is mix the ingredients the night before (while baby is asleep), then take it out of the fridge the next morning and sprinkle with granola. YUM!
Ava loves to play outside. One of her favorite spots to play are the basket ball and tennis courts in a nearby park. She is *obsessed* with trying to find little rocks and sticks to put in her mouth. She will crawl around racking the courts with her hands to try and find something she shouldn't have!! Check out her child's pose below;) LOL! She is going to be a yogi for sure.
Overnight Oats (how I'm making them this week)
1/2 cup TJ's blueberry muesli
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup greek style yogurt (I use 0% Fage)
Granola to sprinkle on top (I like blueberry granola from the bins at Whole Foods)
Mix together muesli, milk & yogurt the night before and place in the refrigerator. Take out the next day, stir and add granola & fresh fruit. Enjoy:)
